Karen has been offering transformational holistic coaching both within organisations and for private clients since 2001. She has led personal development workshops in relationships, coaching and in “emotional intelligence”.

Named Chikara (meaning “powerful” in Japanese), the process has been described as beautiful, powerful and unique by one of the UK’s Reiki Masters.

She is a published author having contributed a chapter to “A Coaches Story” published by Bookshaker in 2011. In it she says referring to Biodanza, The Dance of Life: “This dance and movement-based process is very powerful for facilitating nurturing, healing and love. In fact it is so powerful that I cannot NOT offer it to the world!”

In May 2011, she appeared on the BBC’s equivalent in South Korea teaching it as part of a documentary on dance as therapy, alongside facilitators from all over the world. She has also taught a session for BBC1′s Inside Out series where she showed 3.6 million viewers how Londoner’s can have fun without alcohol.

Beverley Jones – Following 30 years in corporate senior management, Beverley quite literally crashed out in 2009, suffering from ill health.Throughout 2009 / 2010 Beverley travelled on a journey thorough depression and anxiety which ultimately led to a decision to train as a life coach in order to inspire and help others move their lives forward in a positive way.

Awaken life coaching was then founded in 2010 and is an innovative company that wants to help you live your life to its full potential. While Beverley has a diploma in life coaching, she states she is not a ‘Text Book’ coach, as this combined with a wealth of life experience and covering roles in the majority of departments in the business field enables her to support clients whether it is as a life coach, business coach or an employment consultant.

Beverley has trained with Sue Stone – author of ‘Love Life, Live Life’ (who played the role of Secret Millionaire in the recent Channel 4 Series) and is an accredited coach with the Sue Stone Foundation.

In September 2012, Beverley’s first book ‘Made it Thru the Rain’ is being published.  In this book she chronicles her journey through depression  to recovery and beyond.  Beverley courageously demonstrates how an ordinary life can become extraordinary and how experience can indeed be the greatest gift.

Jane Miller is a coach and therapist, artist, mother of 3 daughters and a returned expatriate wife who decided to setup inbusiness at the age of 54.

Jane’s main sense of purpose in life comes from helping people who are being challenged to deal with change; personal loss, new parent/empty nest, setting up business /new job / promotion. And those who want to bring about change in their lives; dealing with past abuse or children of self abusive parents, fearfulness, feelings of being trapped, poor life habits etc.

The combination I use, of personal coaching and therapy is a powerful one where we look forward towards creating a fulfilling future and we look back to undo some of the knots that tie people in to repeating patterns of behaviour and beliefs that constantly undermine all their best efforts.”

Jane’s techniques draw on the most powerful elements of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Time-line Therapy, Coaching, and Hypnosis or guided visualisation.

“There have been times in my life where I have desperately needed some help, support and inspiration. When the right teacher, the right book or the right friend appeared at my door I was able to make vast leaps forward in my life and my happiness. I think this is what Day of Women offers to those are searching for their answers and support systems. I feel privileged to be able to participate and offer something of my learning to help others in their turn”- Jane Miller

Katherine Riggs came to the world of craniosacral therapy after the very difficult birth of her daughter. Desperately seeking help for this little bundle of nerves who would not sleep and demanded to be held constantly, Katherine witnessed first hand the powerful  effects of craniosacral therapy – on both mother and daughter. The change was so profound that Katherine soon after happily gave up a ten year career in publishing to train as a craniosacral therapist  and thereby discovered a fascinating new way of relating to the world and to health and wholeness.

Craniosacral therapy aims at its most basic level to make the body a safe and comfortable place to be and helps to relieve any pain, tension, trauma or discomfort encountered there. It gives you the opportunity to explore how your life experiences are imprinted on the fabric of your body and offers a profoundly transformative way of resolving past emotional, physical or spiritual issues.

Katherine  is passionate about supporting women to come into a healthy, safe, and embodied relationship with their bodies and their beings. She has worked extensively with women living with HIV, women recovering from abuse, relationship breakdown, post-traumatic disorders, and chronic fatigue. She has also run a series of creativity workshops and works with budding writers, musicians and artists who want to live more deeply in their creative flow.

“I work from the principle that I work with health, not illness, and help my clients, regardless of their condition, come back into connection with their own health. In my opinion, craniosacral work is the safest and most effective way to feel healthy again.” - Katherine Riggs
